Dr. Chris Reeves’ illustrious career spans more than two decades and includes stints at some of the nation’s most prestigious medical institutions. A graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, he went on to complete his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Michigan State University three years before attending a spine Fellowship at the Beverly Hills Spine Group. While there, he operated at Cedars-Sinai Los Angeles under the leadership of some of the best surgeons in spine care. It was during his fellowship in Beverly Hills that Dr. Reeves received his extensive spine surgery training in minimally invasive spine surgery and disc arthroplasty.
Dr. Reeves’ practice is grounded in motion-preserving, muscle-sparing minimally invasive spinal surgery, which allows smaller incisions, results in less muscle damage and decreases the patient’s need for pain medication. He takes a progressive approach to complete operative and non-operative spinal care. Dr. Reeves evaluates and treats cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine related injuries and disorders. He utilizes advanced technology, training and experience to treat patients with motion preservation techniques, including disc arthroplasty, and minimally invasive fusion when applicable.
Dr. Reeves performs Missouri workers’ compensation evaluations, treatment, independent medical exams and takes private insurance.
